What is LASIK Laser Vision Correction?
The principle of LASIK (Laser-Assisted in Situ Keratomileusis) laser vision correction is to use laser technology to reshape the curvature of the cornea and correct the ability of the eye to refract light, thereby correcting vision and reducing the dependence on glasses and contact lenses. The bottom surface of the corneal flap produced by LASIK laser correction is thinner and more uniform in thickness, which greatly reduces the sequelae of surgery, such as irregular astigmatism or string light. LASIK laser vision correction surgery has a history of more than 30 years, and was approved by the US FDA as early as 1987.
